Matt, regardless of the score, the Canes played one of the best TEAM games of the season! Peters was outstanding...and not JUST ON THE 1ST SHOT!!
The entire game the team cleaned up the rebounds and outhustled Col.
With that effort the Canes will lose few games IMO!

A great team effort ,but I hope that keeps up as the team will need that vs the Ducks & Blues back to back ,and still need a REAL top 6 forward.

Canes' looked good last night. They were hungry and they showed it. Second line wanted it more than usual. Defense has improved noticably, and Sekera and Hainsey are solid pick-ups.

Side bar point, the third period showed how good the young Avalanche squad is. They were tenacious and could've nearly tied it several times. Very impressed for their forward core. Their drafting of young talent is really paying off now as they seems to be gelling excellently. This WILL be a fun team to watch in the next several years. McKinnon and Duchense are special players. Wow !
